In 1996, Dolly the sheep changed the world, simply by being born. In many ways Dolly was just an ordinary sheep, but as the first mammal ever cloned from a somatic cell, she was also the sign of a scientific revolution. Since then, cloning has only become more sophisticated, but it has brought with it a number of questions. Is it wrong to clone cells? To clone entire organisms? To clone humans? What are the possible benefits? What are the possible risks? Does the way we are created determine how human we are?
